MEET JEAN
I was introduced to yoga in early 2002, and have been teaching since 2005.
I have personally experienced yoga’s power to transform not just the body and breath, but also the mind and spirit. In all of my offerings, I endeavor to help students realize union of the body, breath and spirit through asana (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation. I would love to work with you to support your specific needs!​

If you're interested, here are my credentials! I hold a 500-hour yoga teacher certification. First, I completed the requirements for 200-hour teaching certifications in two styles of yoga (Integral Yoga Institute and the alignment-based style of yoga known as Anusara Yoga). In March 2019, I completed an additional 300-hour advanced teacher training which, combined, provides me with the credentials for the 500-hour certified yoga teacher qualification. I also have studied with nationally-known teachers to deepen my understanding of yoga as therapy, which is the application of alignment principles to common injuries and chronic physical conditions.
